  • What is a VI Peel?

    VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity using a blend of TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and Vitamin C. It targets pigmentation, acne, fine lines, and overall skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime compared to traditional peels.

    How many treatments will I need?

    Many clients see visible improvement after just one peel, but a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart provides the most dramatic long-term results—especially for pigment, scarring, or chronic acne.

    Does the treatment hurt?

    You may feel mild tingling or warmth during application, but most clients find it very tolerable. Discomfort is minimal and brief.

    When will I see results?

    Skin appears brighter and more even within 7–10 days, with continued improvement over the following weeks as collagen remodels. Pigment reduction and clarity improve progressively with series.

  • Before your appointment:

    • Stop retinoids, exfoliants, & AHAs/BHAs for 5–7 days prior

    • Avoid sun exposure + tanning

    • Pause acne/bleaching products unless advised

    • Do not schedule immediately after waxing or laser

    After your appointment:

    You will be given specific instructions to ensure results. You will also receive a FREE post-care kit, which will include a week’s worth of skincare. The peel solution is self-neutralizing, meaning you will leave the clinic with the solution on your skin. It does have a bit of a bronze “tint”, and we recommend leaving this solution on for 4 hours post-treatment. Most people start to see the first signs of “peeling” around 36-48 hours after their appointment. For most patients, days 3-6 post-treatment will have the most significant “peeling”. By day 7, most patients are done with the “peeling” and will notice their skin is refreshed, glowing, and soft. You will be advised to remain out of the sun and to avoid heat (including high intensity exercise) for the duration of the 7 days. Please note that everyone’s skin will react differently.
